A nasal cannula, also known as nasal prongs, is a medical device used to deliver supplemental oxygen or airflow to a patient's nostrils. It consists of a lightweight tube with two small, flexible prongs that are inserted into the nostrils. The other end of the tube connects to an oxygen source, such as a portable oxygen generator or a wall connection in a hospital.
